Don't have a photo for today but i did take some LOL.
Anyway as i said my car went on the tow truck today very exciting, well its wasn't that exciting but boy was it great to finally get it gone and started. Not having it working has been so painful, our mechanic was having an extended holiday for the first time in 20 yrs so i guess i wont complain, just bad timing waiting for him to get back.
The kids spent the day with Annie today. Annie is Josh's Aide from school. Annie is gorgeous and is soo sad not to have our class next yr so she is making sure we all catch up and never forget her - as if !!
Annie took the kids to her sisters house as she needed to go there anyway and her sister has a pool. It sounds as if they had an absolute ball, they have come home so very tired which is great as we might have a quiet inside day tomorrow - yuck i hate the heat, 39degrees is not what i call a pleasant day.
I have just been outside to turn the spa down to a comfy 34 degrees so hopefully the kids can spend most of the day in it tommorrow. Not a lot i can do anyway without a car and i am certainly not walking anywhere.
Picked the kids up at 6pm and they just fell into bed after eating ahhhh my kind of quiet evening.......................
While there wasn't a lot we could do today without our car we were able to go out to lunch. Jason Coops and i went and had a lovely lunch, we used to go out to lunch a lot yrs ago but after having Coops we just having had much of a chance so it was nice just to sit and relax.
We relaxed the rest of the day without the kids just pottering around getting a few bits and pieces done. The best part of the day was not being pestered every four minutes "mum can you and i do something?" "mum can we do something exciting?" Josh has such trouble doing ANYTHING on his own. He drags me around the house ALL day not even giving me a chance to eat or have a coffee without his pleas to be entertained.
Although i do like doing things with him, boy its draining ................anyway up and at them for another day.

Oh that WOULD be draining! M used to be like that when he was younger and wanted me to play with him all the time.... now thankfully he can entertain himself SOMETIMES! He likes company too tho so he likes me to be in the same room as he is playing lol

i bet you're glad it didnt get as hot today as they first predicted!!
Are you able to get weekend respite care for Josh so that you can have some down time?

No respite over school hols Jen - crappy hey.
Thats why our lovely Annie had him for us.
No respite normally for weekends we just get a break on a wednesday night for 2-3 hrs.
