Devastation

Its been stated that this is the worst natural disaster our county has ever witnessed ...................



I am sitting here trying to do the morning Blog reading routine and its so difficult while so much is going on just minutes away. The death toll has risen again this morning which is so hard to hear. This day will be remembered forever i imagine, the 8th of February will have a new meaning for most of us and a new appreciation of being safe and sound with our families around us.

Although our summers are what we are renowned for its such a shame with summer comes bushfire season - id give back all the lovely days never to have bush fires again they devastate areas with such veracity nothing seems to survive in its path.

With all the devastation there have been a few stories of hope emerging - hopefully we will hear more to help us all get through this period.
