Thought it was time i did an update as I got out of the loop with my bloging which i really don't want to do !!!
I got bitten by a spider last Tuesday night while i slept (hmm nice to know a spider was sharing my bed yuckkk). I first noticed the lump (on my breast mind you) and the pain it was giving me was spreading down my side and across my side. Of course i went to the Dr's and although he said it obviously wasn't a nasty spidey it was a nasty reaction.
So i felt crappy most of the week and have started to feel more like me today - It has made me sooo tired and eventually the pain was going from my head all the way to my toes. Anyway ill stop being a sooky lala and move on.
Believe it or not Rachael also got bitten by a spider last week and while i was being a sookey la la at home Rach was really sick needing a WEEK off work, if any of you know Rach you would know that that is just unheard of for her !!
I will mention the fires although not dwell on them as it makes me so sad to think of all the lives, homes and animals that have been effected to date.
Bec's family were in direct line with the fires out in Coloraine and had to be evacuated - while her hubby also had to fight the fires. So double worry there.
Lyn's home was surrounded by the fires as Lynnie lives on the Bunyip state forest and although it is an absolutely gorgeous place to live it has its hazards as well. Two of Lyn's horses have been at a friends property and they were also in a bad way so she had her own home to worry about and her extended family (horses).
I hear Pam is ready and car packed as she has fires near her house in Wallan and also not far away from where some people lost their lives.
I also heard second hand that Karen was out fighting her fire at Narre Nth and got water dumped by the helicopter - hopefully we can laugh about this later !
One of our family friends had the fire right up to the back of their property but luckily escaped damage as Elvis was using their dam to fill up so he was close to be able to get the fire out - thanks Elvis the fire fighting helicopter.
We had 5 fires in Carrum Downs/Skye according to the CFA website but all small and put out quickly so we are all good here = thinking of everybody else though.
The frightening thing is that all these people above are in totally different parts of Victoria meaning that they are all separate fires frightening to know how many there have been.
Before all of the sadness happened we went to Karen out at Kazmos to create a book with the "crush" line from Theresa Collins. I cant show you mine as i didn't do one i am stil working on my calender from my Heidi class, hopefully ill get it finished shortly and be able to use it LOL.
Might actually post some pics of it soon.
Not a lot on over here for the next week just 2 Dr's appontments for Josh and a lot of house cleaning to do !! wish me luck i may not be able to climb out from under the washing and dirt this house has accumulated this past week while its been to hot to do anything.
Night all Mette x

Shame, I had actually heard a bit about all the fires on the news. Very bad hey?! And your spider bite was obviously serious. Gee, so you have not had such a good time lately. Can't wait to see your finished calendar soon ;-)
Oh Mette, sorry to hear about the spider bite - Did Josh think it was the Daddy Long Legs??? Hope you are feeling much better soon!
Hugs
